The trip has officially begun. I guess. We're in the airport, all huddled together, waiting. It's 7:30 and our flight doesn't leave for another two hours. We've already been waiting for 1. It's a little anti-climatic.
Not many people are sleeping (I don't think many slept last night either), but we have pretty good training staying up as late as need be. I feel like we're in this weird interim where we're tired, but we're still excited about the trip, so no one's sleeping, but no ones wired.
We're flying out in two groups--we're the first. We, 27, will head to London in a few hours and wait for the second group to meet us there tomorrow. Then we'll fly as a group to Abu Dhabi. Most of us don't know much at all about the trip; it has been kept under wraps by Sam. Honestly, I love it--the excitement of not knowing what I'm getting myself into (I guess after last semester, I feel like there's nothing more intense that Terrascope could throw at me).
Really there's not much more to talk about yet, just the twinkle in the corner of people's drowsy eyes of what might be to come.
